INCHER - CHEGG meeting of the minds

Research interests of staff members of the Centre for Higher Education Governance Ghent (CHEGG) coincide with those of scholars at other research centres in and outside Europe. But often we do not find the time to invest in exploring similarities and potential synergies. The fact that both CHEGG and the International Centre for Higher Education Research (INCHER) of the University of Kassel, Germany, did reserve a day for a "meeting of the minds", signifies that both research centres think such exchanges are worthwhile.

During the event - hosted by the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies in Cologne on the 10th of March - we discussed our general research agendas and academic "speed-dating" allowed us to explore individual interests. The photo shows prof. Georg Krücken (director of INCHER) presenting his research interests. We look back at a successful day that is worthy of a follow-up.
